Ross Callahan
Intern, Intake
Ross Callahan is from Calhoun, GA. He joined the firm as an intern in June 2017 and is a senior at the University of West Georgia majoring in Management and Marketing degree. Ross is also the president of the fraternity Kappa Alpha at the University of West Georgia. His plans after graduation are to pursue a career in Sales & Marketing or anything in the administrative field.
Denise Wilkin
Legal Assistant, Social Security
Denise Wilkin graduated cum laude from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia in 1974 with a B.A. degree in Political Science and a concentration in the Social Sciences. She also, earned a Georgia Teaching Certificate for Secondary Education (grades 7-12). Ms. Wilkin then taught in the Coweta and Cobb County school systems for several years. She also served as the Administrive Operations Coordinator for Coweta County Department of Family and Children Services for many years before joining Smith, Wallis, and Scott, LLP in 2011, where the concentration of her work is mostly with Social Security Disability and Workers’ Compensation cases.

Yani graduated from Kaplan University and has been doing Workers’ Compensation for 7 years. She Moved from California in 2016 and during her free time she enjoys being with her kids and hiking.
Deidra Musick
Department Head, Workers' Compensation & Paralegal
Deidra joined Smith, Wallis & Scott, LLP in 2016. Ms. Musick is the department head/paralegal for the workers compensation department. In her free time Deidra enjoys spending time with family, friends and her dog Molli.
Gabby Rubio
Firm Administrator & Finance Manager
Gabby joined Smith, Wallis, & Scott, LLP in 2005 as an assistant to Attorney Christopher B. Scott in cases involving Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, Social Security Disability, and Medical Malpractice. In 2010, she graduated from the University of West Georgia with a B.B.A. in Accounting from an accredited AACSB school.
Maria Mendoza

Maria joined Smith, Wallis & Scott, LLP in 2006. Mrs. Mendoza is the medical coordinator for Attorney Ken Smith’s workers’ compensation claims.
Stacey Kinard
Social Security Dept. Head & Senior Paralegal
Stacey Wallis Kinard is the senior paralegal for Christopher B. Scott, Esq. She has been at the law firm of Smith, Wallis & Scott, LLP since April, 2002. She assists Mr. Scott with cases of Social Security Disability, Workers’ Compensation, and Personal Injury.
Prior to coming to Smith, Wallis & Scott, LLP, she graduated from Auburn University in 1992 with a B.S. degree in Finance. Upon graduation, she attended the National Center for Paralegal Training and obtained her paralegal certificate in December, 1992. In January, 1993, she went to work for a large Atlanta law firm where she was a part of the Intellectual Property section of the firm. Here, she assisted in copyright and patent litigation trials as well as assisting in prosecuting trademark applications.
Stacey is married to Glenn Kinard and they have two children: Kristen and Jenna. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, photography and spending time with family and friends in Panama City Beach.
